4.7 miles (7.5 km) with 87m total ascent
A circular route in the Colne valley to the north of Aldenham taking in some old byways through farmland, paths through parkland, and a stretch alongside the River Colne with opportunities for dogs and children to paddle.
This route often gets flooded after heavy rain. If it's been raining recently it's probably worth choosing a different walk. This route is probably one to save for dry weather.
